#7 PIGEONS OF DRAMA.

I haven't posted in a while...judging by the last post, no surprise.

Anyway, what have I been doing recently?

1. Taking advantage of the summery weather, enjoying a little sing song in the park while the sunlight was out.
2. Attended a christening. Well, 'attended' is quite a strong word. I strolled up to the doors of the church and saw everyone outside waiting. Just to find out that they had just gotten out and I'd miss the service completely! An extreme 'fashionably late', I'd say.
3. Went to a Pigeon Detectives gig last night with Georgie. The band was better than expected, a lot of stage presence and a catalogue full of 2-minute belters. I even liked some of their new stuff, a crazy thought for a band with a third album!
I was particularly impressed by Matt Bowman's impression of Roger Daltrey. Boisterously swinging the microphone around, often getting extremely close to the bass player's head.
(I remember reading somewhere that those exaggerated movements on stage gave a band stage presence. Thats why The Who worked so well, Daltrey was doing stuff with the microphone, Moon was going mental on the drums, Townshend was doing all of those exaggerated windmills and Entwistle was the calm in the eye of the storm. Interesting....)

That's a brief outline of my weekend. As for the drama; it has been entwined with the Sally Cinnamon series. Now it is just one big screenplay!
Because of these recent updates, Sally Cinnamon is now known as 'Jenny Beckman'.

I'm currently listening to Ash - Girl From Mars

Jesus Loves You,
Steven Demetre Georgiou.
